Application
Polymer emulsions, coatings, adhesives and pigment dispersions, protecting them from spoilage by bacteria, yeasts and fungi.
Industrial waterborne products, polymer emulsions, coatings, adhesives and pigment dispersions. Agrochemical use requires separate confirmation.
Key Benefits
The following functions are described in the published source; they are not measured results for every formulation.
- No CIT/MIT, as stated on the data sheet.
- Excellent alkali resistance, effective over pH 4-12.
- Application temperature up to 120 °C.
- Broad spectrum against bacteria, moulds and yeasts.
- No added formaldehyde or formaldehyde-releasing substances.
Technical Data
See the technical specifications table above and the source TDS below. Keep the stated units, dosage basis and test conditions together when comparing grades.
Use and dosage
Add at any production stage, early where possible. Check that temperature, pH and redox potential at the addition point do not affect stability, and run a compatibility test before first use. The product is miscible with water in all proportions. Recommended use concentration is 0.05%-0.3%, depending on the product and the conditions of use.
Storage
Store in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months. Transport classification follows the current SDS and the applicable regulations.
